  1. On August 3, 2010, the Home Guaranty Corporation (HGC) invited suppliers of printers to participate and offer their bids for the supply of HGC Printers.

  2. Pursuant to BAC Resolution No. 028G-2010, the HGC revised the specification and number of Printers to be procured as follows:

  3. Interested and qualified bidders may participate and bid on one or all of the lots.


  4. The bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using non-discretionary “pass/fail” criteria as specified in the Revised Implementing Rules and Regulations Part A (IRR-A) of Republic Act 9184 (R.A. 9184), otherwise known as the “Government Procurement Reform Act.”

  5. The Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) of P1,185,200.00 is chargeable against Corporate Funds.

  6. Bid documents will be available during office hours starting October 19, 2010 until November 11, 2010, at the HGC BAC Secretariat, Administrative Department, Ground Floor Jade Bldg., 335 Sen. Gil J. Puyat Avenue, Makati City upon payment of a non-refundable fee of P5,000.00 to the HGC Cashier.

  7. A pre-bid conference will be held at 2:00 p.m., on October 28, 2010, at the HGC Conference Room, 4th Floor Jade Bldg., 335 Sen. Gil J. Puyat Avenue, Makati City.

  8. Three (3) sealed bid envelopes containing the (1) Eligibility Requirements, (2) Technical Bid Proposal and (3) Financial Bid Proposal shall be dropped inside the “bid box” placed at the Security Guard station, Ground Floor Lobby of Jade Building on or before 2:00 p.m. of November 12, 2010. Thereafter, the bids shall be opened in the presence of the bidders or their representatives at the HGC Conference Room, 4th Floor Jade Bldg., 335 Gil Puyat Avenue, Makati City. The sealed bid envelopes shall be addressed to the Vice-Chair, Bids and Awards Committee.

  9. Previous bidders who purchased the bid documents may secure copies of the new bid documents at no cost.

  11. The HGC Bids and Awards Committee reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive any required formality therein or to accept the bid as may be considered most advantageous to the Corporation.
