  1. 1. The Home Guaranty Corporation (HGC) is inviting all interested and qualified bidders to bid for the supply of Blade Servers and Accessories as follows:

  3. The bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using non-discretionary “pass/fail” criteria as specified in the Revised Implementing Rules and Regulations Part A (IRR-A) of Republic Act 9184 (R.A. 9184), otherwise known as the “Government Procurement Reform Act.”

  4. The Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) of P5,000,000.00 is chargeable against Corporate Funds.

  5. Bid documents will be available during office hours starting February 22, 2010 until March 14, 2010, at the HGC BAC Secretariat, Administrative Department, Ground Floor Jade Bldg., 335 Sen. Gil J. Puyat Avenue, Makati City upon payment of a non-refundable fee of P2,000.00 to the HGC Cashier.

  6. A pre-bid conference will be held at 2:00 p.m., on March 3, 2010, at the HGC Conference Room, 4th Floor Jade Bldg., 335 Sen. Gil J. Puyat Avenue, Makati City.

  7. Three (3) sealed bid envelopes containing the (1) Eligibility Requirements, (2) Technical Bid Proposal and (3) Financial Bid Proposal shall be dropped inside the “bid box” placed at the Security Guard station, Ground Floor Lobby of Jade Building on or before 2:00 p.m. of March 15, 2010. Thereafter, ithe bids shall be opened in the presence of the bidders or their representatives at the HGC Conference Room, 4th Floor Jade Bldg., 335 Gil Puyat Avenue, Makati City. The sealed bid envelopes shall be addressed to the Vice-Chair, Bids and Awards Committee.

  9. The HGC Bids and Awards Committee reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive any required formality therein or to accept the bid as may be considered most advantageous to the Corporation.
