SUPPLY OF LABOR AND MATERIALS FOR THE REPAIR OF GENSET
TERMS OF REFERENCE

I. OBJECTIVE
To engage with a supplier for the repair of Genset.

II. SCOPE OF WORK
Provide skilled labor, technical expertise, skilled manpower, tools and equipment, and consumables for the supply and installation of brand new automatic voltage regulator rectifier diodes, general electrical reconditioning and rewinding of alternator motor for one unit Cummins Diesel Generating set:

A. Replacement of Brand new Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR)

1. Pre-start-up testing and inspection of generating set;
2. Tracing and check-up of electrical wiring of the generating control panel;     
3. Check-up of alternator connection and windings;
4. Dismantling of defective AVR and Rectifier Diodes;
5. Installation of  newly supplied AVR and Rectifier Diodes to include rewiring and termination;
6. Test run of engine unit without load;
7. Observe for any abnormalities in voltage regulation, make necessary adjustments;
8. Test run of unit with actual load; and
9. Record parameters and submit service report.

B. General electrical reconditioning and rewinding of alternator motor

1. Coordination with authorized personnel prior to mobilization;
2. Disassemble generator from engine and dismount unit from skid base frame;
3. Dismantle and check rotating rectifier, block diodes and end bearing;
4. Dismantling of generator main stator and windings;
5. Cleaning and degreasing of alternator poles;
6. Rewinding of main stator field coils, re-insulate and oven bake;
7. Heat dry winding coils and perform megger and growler tests;
8. Reassemble generator unit by parts, remount onto skid base frame and re-couple to engine unit;
9. Test run without and with load, make necessary adjustments if necessary; and
10. Orient authorized personnel and submits service report and recommendations.

C. Completion: Approximately 10 to 15 working days.

D. Warranty: one (1) year on parts and service.

III. APPROVED BUDGET FOR THE CONTRACT
The approved budget is Three Hundred Thirteen Thousand Six Hundred Pesos (P313,600.00) inclusive of VAT.
