CATERING SERVICES FOR HGC CHARTER DAY
TERMS OF REFERENCE

I. OBJECTIVE
To select the most responsive bidder to provide for catering service for the lunch at the Home Guaranty Corporation’s 2015 Charter Day celebration on March 27, 2015 at the HGC Function Hall 5th floor, Jade Building, 335 Sen. Gil Puyat Ave., Makati City.

II. SCOPE OF WORK AND DELIVERABLES
The winning participant shall:

1. Provide catering service for approximately 350 persons;
2. Provide adequate number of waiters/waitresses;
3. Provide kitchenware/chinaware, knives, spoons, forks and other cutleries to be used during the event;
4. Ensure the complete preparation and set-up of tables and chairs at least two (2) hours before the start of the event;
5. Ensure and maintain the quality of the food to be served;
6. Ensure that the food shall be for ready for serving at least one (1) hour before the appointed time; and
7. Provide food tasting and prepare a mock set-up which includes one table set-up in accordance with the event’s theme.

III. DESCRIPTION

Category of Guests	VIP Guests - Meals will be served sit-down style. Staff – Meals will be served buffet style.
Type of Meal	Menu shall consist of the following: Lechon Rice Soup or Salad Appetizer Chicken Pork or Beef Fish / Seafood Dessert Free-flow beverage Coffee and Tea Purified drinking water and ice for drinks
Set-up	Elegant buffet set-up with lights Round dinner tables dressed with floor-length linens and table runners/toppers Centerpiece with flowers or balloons Dressed table for the Registration Table Chairs with floor-length seat covers Clean and fresh linens

 

IV. APPROVED BUDGET
The approved budget for the contract is P120,000.00 chargeable against the Corporate Operating Budget for CY 2015.

V. CRITERIA FOR SELECTION
The proposal shall be evaluated using the Cost-Quality method, details as follows:
