The Home Guaranty Corporation (HGC), through its Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), invites all interested bidders to bid for the janitorial services for the HGC Head Office located at Jade Building, 335 Senator Gil J. Puyat Avenue, Makati City for a period of two (2) years with a provision for a one year renewal depending on the performance of the winning bidder.

1. The bidding is open to all janitorial services providers who have been engaged in the business for at least three (3) years.



2. The bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using non-discretionary “pass/fail” criteria as specified in the Implementing Rules and Regulations Part A (IRR-A) of Republic Act 9184 (R.A. 9184), otherwise known as the “Government Procurement Reform Act.”



3. The approved budget for the contract (ABC) is P4,898,000.00 for twenty-four (24) janitors chargeable against Corporate Funds.



4. Bid documents will be available during office hours starting October 11, 2011 until October 28, 2011 at the HGC BAC Secretariat, Administrative Department, 2nd Floor Jade Bldg., 335 Gil Puyat Avenue, Makati City upon payment of a non-refundable fee of P3,500.00 to the HGC Cashier.



5. A pre-bid conference will be held on October 18, 2011 at the HGC Conference Room, 5th Floor Jade Bldg., 335 Gil Puyat Avenue, Makati City at 2:00 p.m.



6. Three (3) sealed bid envelopes containing the (1) Eligibility Requirements, (2) Technical Bid Proposal and (3) Financial Bid Proposal shall be dropped inside the “bid box” placed at the Security Guard station, 2nd Floor of Jade Building on or before 2:00 p.m. of November 3, 2011. Thereafter, the bids shall be opened in the presence of the bidders or their representatives at the HGC Conference Room, 5th Floor Jade Bldg., 335 Gil Puyat Avenue, Makati City. The sealed bid envelopes shall be addressed to the Vice-Chair, Bids and Awards Committee.



7. Other inquiries regarding the bidding shall be directed to the BAC Secretariat, Administrative Department at telephone Nos. 897-32-94 and 897-32-66.



8. The HGC Bids and Awards Committee reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive any required formality therein or to accept such bid as may be considered most advantageous to the Corporation.
