  1. The Home Guaranty Corporation (HGC) is inviting all interested Security Solutions Providers to submit price quotation of duly licensed end-point antivirus software for 200 users with the following technical specifications:


    • Virus, spyware, Trojan and worm detection and cleanup
    • On-access and on-demand scanning
    • Central management
    • Client lockdown
    • End-user quarantine management for viruses and Potentially Unwanted Applications (PUA)
    • Integrated adware and PUA detection, removal and authorization
    • Integrated Application Control, e.g. VOIP, IM, P2P and games
    • Integrated Host Intrusion Prevention System (HIPS) – Behavioral Genotype Protection
    • Integrated HIPS – suspicious files, runtime behavior and buffer overflow Protection
    • Windows 2008 Server support
    • Identifies managed, unmanaged and guest computers that are non-compliant with your security policy such as out-of-date anti-virus protection or a disabled firewall and fixes them
    • Provides automatic alerts whenever a compliance issue arises, with the option to automatically fix disabled anti-virus or firewall protection and switch to Microsoft Update
    • Automatic Updates - Updates are automatically downloaded and distributed through Enterprise Console, cascading webserver, all computers across the network, including remote laptops are fully protected
    • Centralized deployment and administration of anti-virus and firewall protection
    • Computer discovery with Microsoft Active Directory and IP/subnet ranges
    • Scales to protect computers from a single console
    • Administration and central management of Windows, Mac and Linux
    • Smart Views (management by exception)
    • Integration of MSDE and SQL Server databases
    • Integrated reporting with additional scheduled summary reports
    • Centralized remote cleanup
    • Centralized policies for updating, anti-virus and firewall protection
    • Centralized management of viruses, spyware, adware, PUAs and firewall alerts
    • Message relays for improved scalability
    • Security dashboard and automatic email alerts
    • Importing and synchronizing with Microsoft Active Directory structure
    • Centralized management of Application Control
    • Centralized management of suspicious file and behavior detection
    • Centralized policies for anti-virus, HIPS and Application Control
    • Centralized removal of third-party anti-virus solutions
    • Centralized deployment of endpoint assessment and control
    • Assessment and control policy setting
    • Role-based administration privileges assigned with Helpdesk and Read-Only Consoles
    • Training

  2. The Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) is P250,000.00 chargeable against Corporate Funds.


  3. All interested bidder should submit their price quotations at the Administrative Department, Ground Floor, Jade Bldg., 335 Sen. Gil J. Puyat Ave., Makati or send thru fax number 897-32-32 on or before 2:00 p.m. of October 22, 2010.

  5. The HGC Bids and Awards Committee reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive any required formality therein or to accept the bid as may be considered most advantageous to the Corporation.
