HGC donated twenty-six (26) computers to 9 public schools in Alitagtag, Batangas last December 16, 2010. Employees from the Management Information Systems Department (MISD) of the Management Services Group (MSG) headed by VP Jimmy B. Sarona personally delivered the computers to the schools where they were met with long smiles and warm greetings from the children and their peers including Mayor Anthony Francis Andal who graced the turn over ceremonies.

Through the efforts of the Corporate Services Group (CSG) under EVP Corazon G.Corpuz, the donation was executed between HGC and the respective principals of the 9 public schools namely Muzon Elementary School (3) units, San Jose T. Reyes Elementary School (3) units, Tadlac Elementary School (2) units, Ping-as Elementary School (2) units, Pinagkrusan Elementary School (3) units, Munlawin Reyes Elementary School (3) units, Dalipit Elementary School (3) units, Alitagtag Central School (3) units, and Alitagtag National High School (4)units.

The new HGC President Atty. Manuel R. Sanchez authorized the delivery of the said computers before the Christmas break of the year 2010 to help the schools in implementing their Computer Assisted Instruction/ Learning Program , introduce the students to basic knowledge and understanding of computer technology and for the purpose of helping out the students/ pupils & teachers in their quest for learning.
